In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, 13800 East 106th Street North, Owasso, OK, 74055.

Edwin A. “Ted” Lloyd was born August 22, 1939, in Coon Rapids, to David Earl and Isabelle LaVina Siglar Lloyd. He died Friday, June 4, 2010, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 70 years. He was reared and educated in Bayard, and graduated with the Bayard High School Class of 1957. He spent much of his working life with Easy Car Wash in Tulsa and eventually purchased the business. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Owasso and also the Tulsa Moose Lodge. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including playing cards and fishing. Ted was also a fan of hockey, especially Tulsa Ice Oiler hockey.
His surviving loving family members include a daughter: Kim Turner and her husband Larry, of Owasso, OK; son Danny Lloyd and his wife Pam, of Catoosa, OK; five grandchildren: Tiffanie Palmer and her husband Chris; Meghann Turner; Justin Lloyd; Jillien Turner; Dodger Turner; one great granddaughter: Braylynn Palmer; sister: LaVina Raye Pendergrass and her husband David; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billie Earl Lloyd.
